Our parent company, Midcontinent Media, has been in
business since 1933, with its roots in theater, radio, and
television. Midcontinent Media is a privately held company
with interests in nearly 200 communities in the Upper Midwest.
Despite Midcontinent’s considerable business interests,
it has managed to maintain a Midwestern spirit of family, community, tradition and customer service that has been the cornerstone of the company’s success throughout the years and will be for the years to come. Midcontinent Media’s headquarters are located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Midco Connections is a wholly owned subsidiary of Midcontinent Media and is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Midco was founded in the mid-80s as a Telephone Answering Service. In just a few years it became clear that our customers wanted more than just an answering service – they wanted comprehensive customer care offering product knowledge, shipping information, answers to callers’ questions, legal intake ability, and above all excellent customer care. In short, they wanted inbound call center services.
In 1994, to fill this need, Midco added a full variety of services including: catalog and order entry processing, geographical dealer and branch location service, forms processing, lead generation and qualification, reservations, scheduling and legal intake. In 2010, Midco Call Center became Midco Connections to more accurately reflect our expanded product and service offerings to expanded vertical markets including retail, healthcare, legal and e-commerce.
In 2011, Midco continued to evolve and grow by adding a second site in Fargo, ND which provides service continuity and enhances our associate talent pool for continued growth. Midco not only provides inbound services but also provides our clients with email support and outbound services including: market research, customer satisfaction surveys, sales, and more. We are experts at high-quality customer contact, up selling, and first call resolution and can support our clients with shared, semi-dedicated, or dedicated associate pricing.
